Jesus In The Garden

Done in LaMotta's 3-D technique, Jesus is depicted here in a dignified position of agony and prayer.

The light represents the cup that was God's Will of him.

The death the branches represent is resurrected by a sprouting fig tree.

The spilling vase of water represents his distressful moment of agony.

On the scroll is the latin phrase: Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews

On the vase: LaMotta 2008

Wild Horses

Depicted in oil, these wild ponies roam the neighboring islands of the Chincoteague.

This piece is owned by Wally and Allison Brown of Virginia Beach, VA.

The Palace

This triple panel is done in oil, it depicts the way of fishing by using trained cormorant birds.

Of course the birds' necks would be constricted enough,
so that they would not swallow the precious fish. At the end of the day, every one gets their share of the booty.

This set is owned by Wally and Allison Brown of Virginia Beach.

The Beach

Done in oil, this is the typical view one would observe in the Sandbridge area of Virginia Beach, VA

This piece is owned by Wally and Allison Brown of Virginia Beach, VA

Fishing

This is Alex and Matthew. The point of painting this picture was to make the fish that Matthew caught slightly bigger than Alex's.
The detail on the can implies that they actually have their own business of canning and/or opening a can of worms.
